Dot Alphabet

Dots and lines

The basic building blocks of typography. But can letterforms express themselves without any lines at all, only with the nodes that connect them? The Dot Alphabet was created to find out. It's made up of the anchor points of nine serif typefaces layered on top of each other. For the final output, I laser cut an 11cm tall letter A, each layer 1cm Perspex acrylic.
